Okay, but seriously, how many females are there in the front lines like that?

I think they try to go for some realism, and having a woman as a playable character in a campaign usually isn’t realistic. I mean, we only recently started allowing females in our military to that extent, so it makes sense that we still haven’t gotten any in our video games.

It is hilarious/upsetting that there is a playable dog before a playable female.

I do think they get a pass for BLOPS 1  as it wouldn’t have made sense since it was supposed to take place in the 60s.  But BLOPS 2 is set in the future, Ghost is an alternate future, not sure about the Modern Warfare games, but they all have ample opportunities for playable female characters, or at least ANY female characters.

I don’t think they included a dog because it’s easier for men to relate to dogs then women, I think they were just trying to implement a companion/familiar feature which is pretty common in gaming.  It’s ridiculous and shows the blatant disregard for females in the industry, but I don’t think it was a Dog v Woman kind of debate.

That actually makes this even more fucked up, is that having a female character was probably never even brought into discussion. So they don’t actively hate women (or they might, I don’t know), but women are such an obscure concept in what is essentially a fantasy military game, that they weren’t even considered.

Guys this one time I knew a guy who was related to the friend of a vegan and they said that they lost their hair because of veganism as well. It had nothing to do with anything else and her diet was definitely balanced so it was just veganism as a whole that did it to her.

And there is absolutely nothing wrong with sacrificing the lives of others for your own personal gain I mean if I was to form a diet that relied solely on toddlers you would have to appreciate that because I don’t want you forcing your opinion onto me.

This is a real problem, and it needs to be dealt with. For every normal, healthy vegan, there are least a dozen vegans out there whose limbs are literally falling off after only hours of being on a vegan diet!!! And of course, the lamestream media won’t cover this, they have an agenda against vegans and want them all to die. We must get the word out, veganism causes leprosy!!!

You know what I’m tired of seeing? These stupid posts going around Facebook (of course it’s fucking Facebook) that gun nuts make up to justify having guns. Some fucktard (I’ll let you guess who) posted this image on my timeline earlier and I promptly deleted it, but he’d also posted it on his own timeline as well.

So let me talk about what I find wrong with this. First, “you women” — I don’t think I need to expand on that. Second, this whole “would you rather” situation being applied to rape. Who actually says, “Please don’t rape me?” [with that sort of facial expression even]. Like, this is saying not only that you can’t possibly fight someone off with your bare hands, but that if you say NO, you will ultimately fail and be raped anyway. This also sends the message that if you have a gun to shoot the rapist that it’s somehow without consequences. Like you can just get away with shooting/killing someone. Even when defending yourself, you still, to some degree, have to answer to the authorities, file a report, etc.

This image seems to imply to me that unless you carry a gun while female, you will inevitably be raped and be unable to stop it because the only way [to stop sexual assault] is with a gun. It also carries the message that any female person should generally expect rape or an attempt at rape at any time, all the time, that we should live in constant fear of rape occurring.

And that really pisses me off.

I guess it’s just ridiculous to teach people NOT TO FUCKING RAPE. What the hell. You’re a disappointment to atheists everywhere, dude, so good riddance.

Is it just me, or does this also send the message that if you DON’T have a gun, then it is somehow your fault that you got raped? Lovely message to spread, either arm yourself to the teeth, of you have no one to blame but yourself.
